About Jasper
Jasper Heiligtag – Founder and creative mind behind Calvill, a brand distinguished by its extraordinary home accessories and furniture, combines art and function in each of his designs. His passion for interior design and furniture began in his childhood, fascinated by the countless possibilities of designing and enlivening spaces.
During his business studies, a time when many young people seek their professional path, he found his true calling and founded Calvill. This label became not only an expression of his passion but also a symbol of innovation and design excellence. Following his graduation, another crucial step in his career ensued: studying product design in Milan, the undisputed design capital of Europe.
Milan, known for its rich history in art and design, offered him an unparalleled source of inspiration. The city, regarded as the epicenter of modern design, is home to some of the world's most esteemed designers and architects. Here, amidst this creative and innovative atmosphere, Jasper refined his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the art of design.
His works are characterized by a rare combination of aesthetics and functionality. Each piece he creates is not only visually delightful but also thoughtful and practical in its application. Jasper firmly believes that good design should both inspire and serve.

About the Name
The name “Calvill” is derived from a series of apple varieties known as “Calville”.
In the 19th century, “Calville” (or “Kalvill”) were among the most noble and popular dessert apples. They are fine-tasting, sweet apple varieties. Today, they have become very rare, with some even being endangered species.
